We host an annual Non-traditional Community Thanksgiving Dinner. It's a great night to hang out with Higher Up friends and celebrate all of God's blessings! This is a by invitation and is an rsvp event. November 2025: we are not having the dinner this year! Hope you have a blessed Thanksgiving!

The Boxwood Bash began the Summer of 1991 to build a better relationship between the Community, the Village & the Services available to them. We are still having a great time all these years later! Games, prizes, music, food & fun all provided by the MP Library, Churches like The Bridge, Grace E. Lutheran, Christian Life with the Mt. Prospect Police, Fire, Public Works & many more groups. We can't wait until the 2nd Saturday of August 2025 for our next Boxwood Summer Bash!
